The president of the House Ethics Council, Representative Ricardo Izar (PTB), wants to change some rules in order to speed up the disciplinary processes against House members accused by the Bloodsucker Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry (CPI).
Last Thursday the CPI recommended expulsion processes against 69 representatives. Among other measures, Izar believes that a council member should be allowed to report on more than one process, since those accused far outnumber the 15 council members.
In the opinion of Representative Izar, all the disciplinary processes will be concluded by the end of the year, but none before the October elections.
