Today Institutional Relations Minister Tarso Genro participates in a board meeting of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils (Aicesis) in Madrid.

Before the meeting he was scheduled to meet with the Spanish Economic and Social Council president, Jaime Montalvo Correa, and secretary-general, Juan Luís Nieto Fernández.

Yesterday Genro discussed the overall Brazilian political and economic scenario at an Alternatives Foundation event attended by around 30 intellectuals and leaders from labor unions, student associations, and social movements.
